Specifically for weld edge preparation, Beveltools developed two groundbreaking concepts: Bevel Mate® and Bevel Mite®. These innovations drastically accelerate and simplify the beveling process, ensuring not only flawless results but also improving working conditions for welders.
Consistent and accurate angle
Chamfering metal with Beveltools bevel heads provides a consistent and accurate angle on sheet material or the outside/inner diameter of pipes. Making a bevel with grinding discs takes too much time and the results are not always as perfect as you would like. The bevel cutters from Beveltools make a smooth beveled edge in one pass. Optimal weld preperation results in a stronger weld.
No finishing and no discoloration
Use of a cutting torch often requires finishing before one can proceed with the welding and the heat causes discoloration of the material. Beveltools guarantees reduced-sparking machining, with hardly any heat being added to the material. With these bevel heads there’s no need for finishing.
Superior quality without contamination
In contrast to the current beveling methods (with a cutting torch, flap disc or grinding disc), working with Beveltools does not add any contamination to the metal. A better welded joint is created through reduced encapsulation in the weld, as the machines do not contaminate the metal.
Lightweight beveling machines
The portable beveling machines are compact and light. They can be brought to the metal without much physical effort and can be used in areas with limited space. The machine is set within a few seconds and the bevel heads are replaced within 45 seconds. A perfect bevel is achieved faster; on average 4 feet (1 metre) of 8-mm-deep metal can be beveled within 80 seconds.
Better working conditions
The beveling machines are lightweight and create the required bevel almost without vibrations. As the bevel heads cut through the metal, the chips are large and heavy, and immediately drop to the ground. No hazardous dust particles and/or combustion gases are released.

The powerful, ergonomic Bevel Mate® concept is highly suitable for more heavy-duty machining and larger projects that require a lot of beveling. With Bevel Mate® you can make bevels in various angles from 15 to 60 degrees.
The Bevel Mite® concept is compact and lightweight. Specially designed for quick rounding of smaller sheets, pipes and holes. With Bevel Mite® you can make beveled edges in various angles from 15 to 60 degrees.
Beveltools has solid carbide cutters for a wide range of metals. Every type of Beveltools bevel heads has its own characteristics, making them more or less suitable for certain types of metal. Simply change the bevel head to create a different angle or radius, or to bevel a different type of metal. Changing the bevel head only takes a matter of seconds.
