The Bevel Mate® EBA 4.0 is the newest generation of the Bevel Mate® EBA electric machine, and the lead model in the new Beveltools 4.0 line. With a 1750-watt motor and speed adjustable up to 7,500 rpm, it handles beveling work up to 12 mm and all radii up to R8, with more torque than the EBA 3.0 it succeeds. Depth is set via the new 4.0 flange system, with a sealed height scale adjustable in 0.05 mm increments — precise, repeatable, and locked in place with a sturdier mechanism than before.
The EBA 4.0 accepts the full range of Bevel Mate® bevel heads — V3.0, ALU and INOX — so one machine covers construction steel, harder steels, aluminum and stainless steel by simply switching cutters. Cutters go on and off faster too: the new flange system does away with the drive pin entirely. Combined with a slip clutch for safer starts, reduced noise during beveling and a more ergonomic housing, it delivers consistent, perfectly radiused edges to EN 1090, ISO 12944, ISO 8501 and IMO PSPC — around 50% faster than grinding or sanding discs, with no grinding dust, no burrs and no post-processing.
