Q-Fin Top Edge

Table milling machine

Top Edge | Table milling machine with Beveltools bevelheads

The Beveltools TopEdge

The table milling machine is the result of the long existing cooperation between Q-Fin and Beveltools. The TopEdge is a table milling machine with a new flange head developed with Q-Fin. It can quickly mill various radii or weld edges at different angles, and has a steplessly adjustable motor speed and a clamping table that can be held firmly in place by clamps or electromagnets.

The two-button control on the handle makes it easy to operate, and the machine’s wheels make it portable. It can be used with all available BevelMate® cutters and quickly provides a perfect angle or radius.

Bevel faster

The unique patented design of the bevel head ensures that it can chamfer and round more quickly than the current conventional methods. Experience has shown that speeds of up to 4.6 feet (140 centimetres) per minute can be achieved here. The cutting surfaces of the bevel heads are shaped in such a way that they cut the metal ‘like a hot knife through butter’.

Safe and healthier working

The chips are large and heavy, causing them to drop to the ground immediately, rather than ending up in the machine or in the air as fine dust. The Bevel Mate® concept provides reduced-sparking machining and adds minimum heat to the metal, preventing any hazardous smoke or gas formation.

Bevel heads with long service life

When used carefully while beveling with the Bevel Mate® machine on construction metal, empirical figures show that 330 to 460 feet (100 to 140 metres) can be achieved with just one bevel head. For rounding, 390 to 650 feet (120 to 200 metres) can be achieved.

Consistent, high quality

The constant contact with the metal provides the most consistent cutting pattern. This cutting pattern cannot be replicated by other tools, such as cutting torches, grinding discs or flap discs. Also machines that use carbide inserts cannot achieve this level of quality. As the Bevel Mate® concept works almost spark-free, no impurities are formed and finishing is not required.

Minimum physical effort

The Bevel Mate® machines are very light and ergonomic, as a result of which limited physical force is required to operate the machine. While rounding and beveling, the machine rests on the metal and guiding it is the only job required. The machine with its powerful motor and the bevel head do the work, in contrast to working with cutting torches, flap discs or grinding discs.

TOP EDGE OPTIONS

Agile

Although the Beveltools TopEdge is quite heavy (± 450Kg) it’s still flexible because of its castor wheels. So you can change the position of the unit depending on the situation. Do you want it close to were the workpieces are cut? No problem just put it nearby and save time needed for internal transport.

Oilcompartment

The Beveltools TopEdge can be ordered with the standard flange head made by us for this table milling machine but you can choose for a flange head with with oil nebulizer as well. This option will spray a very small amount of oiled air around the cutter in order to emprove the service time of the cutter even more. Another great development made by Beveltools!

The oilcompartment and lubricator pump are located inside the table and are integrated in the tables power supply

The best choice

In short, the Bevel Mate® concept is the best choice for heavy-duty beveling (up to 12 mm). With the Q-Fin Table, heavy lifting is no longer needed. With the Bevel Mate® concept combined with the Q-Fin table, your company will be ready for the future.
